Quintica is now offering public certified
training courses in two ITIL® v3 Intermediate courses starting this June
in Johannesburg.
These ITIL® Intermediate courses offer an
advanced, role-based training with a focus on specific clusters of
processes and functions. The benefit of these courses is that they
provide a better, in-depth understanding of the ITIL® best practices that
relate to different areas of IT service and support.
Quintica will offer the first two
Intermediate courses on the following dates:
ITIL® v3 Service Capability: Operational Support & Analysis
Focus: Event, Incident, Request Fulfillment, Problem, and Access
Management.
Functions: Service Desk, Technical,
IT Operations, and Applications Management.
ITIL® v3 Service Lifecycle: Service
Operation
Focus: Service Operations Principals, Service Operation Processes,
Common Service Operation Activities, Organising Service Operation:
Functions, Technology Considerations, Implementation Considerations,
Challenges, Critical Success Factors and Risks, as integral parts of its
overall business-focused Services Framework.
An ITIL® Intermediate Certificate is
awarded upon achieving a grade of at least 70% on a 90-minute,
8-question multiple choice exam. Successful exam candidates also qualify
to receive four (4) ITIL® v3 Credits per Service Capability course passed
and three (3) ITIL® v3 credits per Service Lifecycle course passed
-towards the 22 required to attain the ITIL® Expert qualification.
Forthcoming courses within the ITIL®
Intermediate – Service Lifecycle and Service Capability stream will be
launched later this year. |
